Silly or no, my last comment is a good illustration of your point, if I think about it. If I took the same shot now, people would assume I’m a perv, shooting women’s butts. However, since he dress is old-fashioned and the times more temperate, we automatically attribute good intent to his photo, when in fact his motive could have been to photograph women’s bottoms. Our first reaction is the ideal, the fantasy, as opposed to how we’d see it today.
